Whoa Corey! Purple Sharpies would be awesome. I'd love one (or two). (Now you guys have got me using parentheses, too!)

Hehe.

I've started a trend!

I <3 parenthesis. :)

PS. If we ever do happen to meet, Corey + Lauren, I think we should trade stuff. cough purple sharpies cough

thanks for the help... you've given me some direction at least.

and no, my name is not codon...haha. it's c. o'donovan. get it?

haha sure, but I don't have any parent job merchandise to trade... (I do make a mean batch of chocolate chip cookies, though... ;) )

There I go with the parentheses again... argh! Look what you've done to me!

haha if it's c. o'donovan, it should be codon! What happened to that o?

A fellow Irish, are you? :)

does it mean anything if the application is sent to you? does it mean you've got a better chance or something?

I agree that it should be codon. Gosh, cdon, how could you?

(I think Irish people are awfully cool. I've known like...one in my life. lol)

No, it doesn't mean anything.

It just means they felt like sending you one. They're pretty random in their application sending.

It doesn't matter at all if you give them the original one mailed to you, or not. It doesn't matter at all. It just means you did well on the PSAT, so they thought you might be a good applicant, but TASP really does not make decisions based on test scores.

Tako, now you know 1.25 with me.

Oh, another thing, I think you can request that they mail you one, so any moron could have themself an original application. So it really doesn't matter.

"Tako, now you know 1.25 with me."

OMG I literally stared at that sentence for a minute, not comprehending what it meant at all.

Yeah, me = stupid -__-

whoaaaa, tons of posts in the last 24 hours. If it wasn't already written in like 50 places around my room, the postsunami would be a good reminder of the approaching deadline. my progress thus far:

books: 100% wheeeee!
future: 90%
ranks: 85%
critnal: 80%
personal: 70% (it's missing something...can't put my finger on what though...)
topic: 50% (i've rewritten this one about eight times. frustrations....)

Finished all but one essay (personal)! WOOT!

Wow, dedication. I'm not rewriting anything, I just sit down, type it, and then I'm done. I just spend a lot of time agonizing over the typing part >_<

haha tako :)

Good lord, everyone's from the Bay Area!
I'm trying to make myself feel better with the feeble explanation that our abundance of technology leads to greater online representation, but I know that there are really just droves of hyper-intelligent people in my proximity. Maybe we'll all get in, regardless of our geographic homogeneity? :)
Oh, and my book list is all done, my personal essay 1/2 done, and I've mentally mapped out the others but not yet attempted on paper. Hopefully that admission will make everyone feel significantly more accomplished . . .

haha you sound like me, spouting SAT words.

Hooray! My boyfriend says it hurts his head.

OMG lanchanteuse I know how you feel.

Imagine how awkward it'll be when everybody's like "YAY INTERVIEW" while I'm off hiding in some corner because I didn't even get one. I'll never show up on CC again.

LOL except that it's too addicting. Luckily, if I don't get into TASP, I have backup plans: rent all the seasons of LOST + Grey's Anatomy + 24 and have a 2 month TV-marathon!

Haha Tako you mention 24, holly **** i just finished watching, =D. I <3 Nukes. Anyways if you dont get one its fate right ;-)

"Tako, now you know 1.25 with me." <--I dont get it.

She said she knew one Irish person before, but if you include me, she now knows 1.25 Irish people.

Yes I finally got that. Lol.

Actually I do believe in fate. So yes, I won't be totally devastated if I don't get in. How funny. I'll just reassure myself - it was fate, it was fate. Obviously fate wanted me to get fat watching tv all summer...obviously fate didn't want me having the best time of my life...
