Taxes

Can I e-mail Cornell's financial aid office my tax returns & W-2s?

Also, if I'm a dependent student who didn't work in 2009, do I have to file a non-file student form?

I can answer your second question. I submitted all my stuff and I’m also a dependent student who didnt work in 2009 and they never asked for a nonfiling statement and says that all my forms are in, so in one word: no.

Idk the first one though.

Okay, thankies very much. :]

Any takers for the first question? :D

No problem!
Bump.

as a parent of a dependent student. I can assure you that you will need to send the non-filing statement before you will get your award letter.

Cornell is not always that great about asking for missing items until you call and inquire. If it is on the list, then you will need to send it.

As to emailing the taxes. I seem to remember being able to do that last year, but this year they have an upload page.

So best to use it.
