2006 Tax Returns, or lack thereof

<p>Dumb question:</p>

<p>I sent in my parents' 2006 tax return. I didn't file one this year. I just realized that it says on the financial aid letter, "If either you or your parents will not file a 2006 return, please submit a signed non-filing statement". </p>

<p>I AM supposed to submit a non-filing statement, right? I ask because I seriously didn't know about this until now, and I haven't heard anyone talking about this. </p>

<p>Also, is there a deadline for these? (I tried to call today but the office was closed.)</p>
