I got TCU Scholarship–can I get more? and how?
Have you completed the FAFSA and the CSS profile? Have you checked with their financial aid office as well as the department for your major to see if there is anything else you can apply for?
If TCU really is your #1, then tell them so, and that you will definitely enroll if they can make the numbers work for you financially. Tell them all that and then request a reconsideration of your scholarship award.
I’m not sure if this is still possible, but I spoke with my admissions counselor and requested that my scholarship award be reconsidered based on newer evidence of more academic success. I am very lucky to have been awarded more!
