Notified today that I was invited to the final round. Do any of you know how the acceptance rates compare for candidates who are directly invited to the final round as opposed to the candidates who are not? I feel like there’s more pressure on candidates who are invited to the final round directly</p>
<p>What should I expect from the online activity? Is it intense? </p>
<p>How have you been researching for your guys’ regions? Is there a website any of you would recommend that indicates which regions are the most supportive and which subjects are in most demand for that region?</p>
<p>I have been a regular lurker on this TFA 2013 corps forum, but just never posted. I actually registered for the 1DL and have been invited to a phone interview. It feels like I am the only one in this message board that didn’t get an automatic final interview invite. So, I am extremely nervous in this aspect as I do not know how it will turn out.
And, it seems like the majority has been invited to a final interview.</p>

<p>@HTown207: Hey! It’s great to know I am not the only one doing phone interview. I have just completed my phone interview and I continue the waiting game. My phone interview went okay and I was expecting more situational questions. How was yours?</p>
<p>@iTeach: I felt pretty good about the interview, but obviously it’s impossible to tell since they can’t give any feedback haha. There was also stuff on my resume I didn’t really get to talk about, but whatever. </p>
<p>I can’t believe we still have a week before we find out if we move on…</p>
<p>Hey! I saw that you are maybe doing a Spanish lesson? That is my plan too! Are you doing it in Spanish or in English? Methods say you should always teach in Spanish but I don’t want to get docked for them not understanding all of it.</p>

<p>Went MIA sorry, City Year is no joke, but I wasn’t invited directly to the final round, simply because they want more info regarding things on your app. In reality, those who did the phone interview have half the battle done, at the final interview, they’ll ask you all questions we were asked already. But for those waiting for a final interview decision tomorrow also, buena suerte!</p>

<p>After being in the South my whole life, I’m looking to head out West. Los Angeles is my top preference by far. I’m surprised no one else has mentioned it!</p>
<p>TFA recommends dressing professional so no jeans and t shirts for women they said “slacks, skirts, dressy blouse or a dress” They also said to be conservative if unsure of what to wear.</p>
<p>I have my final interview in a week, and I thought I’d join this forum to release some nervous, excited energy! I didn’t have a phone interview…in some ways I think it would’ve been nice to practice answering some questions before the final interview. But regardless, I’m looking forward to Monday. … & Nov. 1st can’t come soon enough!</p>
