thanks for the update! I have looked over the 2012 posts as well and saw a lot of the same information… it is still super hard not to read into things (one way or the other), isn’t it!?

I am also curious if anyone requested early notification for their admissions decision… the deadline for notification is coming up!

I really wish at this point I had another offer that I could have used to request early notification… haha… but I am waiting on my TFA admissions decision before I apply to any other programs.

hey everyone, do all of you who applied for TF have “complete” on the cover page (aka the page where it shows ALL the documents including transcripts, recommendation forms, etc)?

@crazygood I think they’re processing by date that you interviewed because that interviewed earlier last week seem to be the ones with the completed status

MY TF states:
"Transitional Funding Application Status: Under Review

We have received your supporting documents but have not yet reviewed your application or documents. Please check back to this page for further updates. You can expect an update on notification day if you submitted your documents by the required deadline, or within ten business days if you submitted your documents after that date."

However underneath where it lists the documents it now says “yes,”

Document Category Document(s) Verified by Transitional Funding Notes

A copy of the first four (4) pages of your most recent tax return
OR
A copy of this year’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Student Aid Report (SAR) for 2012/2013 school year

YES

Documentation verifying current amount of Federal Student Loans ( )

YES

Documentation verifying current amount of Private Student Loans ()

YES

Documentation verifying total amount of Savings, Checking, Stocks/Bonds ()

YES

Documentation verifying total amount of Credit Card Debt ()

@TFACLE: Knowing that you interviewed on Oct. 18th, I think I might agree with an earlier post saying that they might work on TF based on interview date. but, still not 100%…at least they’ve looked at yours. So, that’s great news for you! I’m starting to lose hope over here.

Thank you guys for the update. I wouldn’t read into it guys. I read all of the pages in last year’s thread, and some people who got in did not have a change and some who did have a change in their TF’s did not get in. We all have to keep the faith until next week. Soooo far away lol. I have had guaranteed jobs taken away from me before so I will not get excited until I am at summer institute haha.

Hey everyone. I was able to dig up my username from high school as well. I am starting to get very nervous about the whole thing. I didn’t apply for TF so I can’t use that as an indicator.

Is anyone else an applicant from the DC area?

My top 4 regions were Nashville, Charlotte, SC and San Diego.

@Tkass87: What do you mean by N/As? Is “N/A” actually typed under the verification document list? Mine is completely blank. I also interviewed on Friday.

Hey, guys! As of yesterday, my TF was listed as “Complete,” but when I checked back today, it changed to “Under Review.” Strange! Not gonna worry about it, though… 8 more days and we won’t have to speculate anymore about our statuses, whoo!

@ TFACLE:
Mine only asked for tax/fafsa forms and my student loan verification. What about everyone else? That made me kind of nervous. Both of mine are checked “Yes” without any notes. But it seems weird that they wouldn’t ask for the same info from everyone…

They only ask for the documents that are needed/pertain to you. For example, if you have no student loans, they won’t ask for student loan documentation.

I see many people are discussing transitional funding. I had the mentality that I was going to go through that hassle only if I get admitted (because my parents have all that stuff states away and I wouldn’t want to bother them with all that only to realize it didn’t matter).

Is anyone else delaying the process of TF until they receive word of admittance?

That makes sense, but I’m just wondering how they know what kinds of financial assets or liabilities that you have without getting documentation from everyone. Glad its not my job to make those decisions! :)

@iTeach literally says N/A under the document verified by TF column next to each of my req documents. I uploaded them all though Sooo I’m not sure if that’s a good/bad/neutral thing.

No other Friday interviewees with that next to their documents?
