<p>I worked for an institute team I had to approve and deny leave requests graduations are always granted</p>
<p>I’m officially becoming so obsessive with this process and it’s driving me crazy! Lol! If anyone is looking for some encouragement this bible verse always gets me through! </p>

<p>@lifehasjust I am also on the quarter system, and I’ve spoken to a few people from TFA and they said that if you get placed somewhere and the institute dates are during the last weeks of your Spring Q then you have a few options. 1: Ask your professors to take your exams early, and then take days off to attend your graduation. 2. Graduate early (IE finish in Winter Q) and then come back for graduation. 3. In some instances they have allowed people to attend other regions’ institutes. It depends how they decide to proceed, and the severity of the circumstance. </p>

<p>The deadline to accept or decline an offer is November 12th for the first deadline, according to the website.</p>

<p>@thatgirl502 it seems that way. Mine was under review with docs verified, got an e-mail request for more documents, documents verified, status listed as “complete,” and then it went back to under review.</p>

<p>Hi everyone. I’ve been stalking this conversation. I am so anxious about if i got into TFA and WHERE I get in, if I do.
I need a place to ease my mind. I am currently in the Bronx, NYC and my top placements were Philadelphia, Atlanta, New Orleans, Chicago and NYC. How likely is it to get placed in your most preferred category??? I do NOT want NYC, or Chicago. I really am hoping for my top three choices…
I applied for the 2014 Corps and didn’t get in so I am hoping this time is different. Had a much better interview this go round as well.</p>

I am also applying for a program named NYC Teaching Collaborative, as well as NYC Teaching Fellows. Have my Collaborative interview on November 8th.</p>
<p>NYC Teaching Fellows looks like a carbon copy of TFA in terms of their application process… looks like they’re anticipating TFA rejects lol. </p>
<p>Also really excited (/nervous) to get my decision on Thursday… my top choices are

- Colorado
- Bay Area
- Sacramento
- Jacksonville</p>
<p>@bigredbutton I know someone who graduated with me who went to TFA Hawaii. I’m jealous of her pictures every day… But I could never move so far away from everyone! And my dog would hate quarantine.</p>
