@marydee: i don’t think i’ll email TFA about my transcript. i’ll just wait and see if they care enough. probably not. lol.
My TF documents have now all been verified. I can’t help but get my hopes up now! Oh, man. I really don’t want this to turn out to be false hope.
@nervynerd Same! It’s hard not to get excited but I’m going to be crushed if it’s all for nothing. I’m going to be freaking out on the day of the 19th bc apparently in the morning that’s when a bunch of people’s (who normally get accepted based on past trends) get their Under Review change to Complete! Ahhhh

Hey guys! My documents have been verfied with a yes beside them…that eases some of my tension,but not a lot.
Do our recruiters know before we do about our acceptance? I’ve been reading some older threads and it seems as if recruiters know before notification day.
@SCTFA2015: I haven’t seen any evidence that would prove that recruiters know of your acceptance before notification day. However, it seems evident that if you do receive an e-mail from them, it is a good sign
by the way, congrats on the TF update. i’m still sitting here being depressed about my TF. I know it’s easy to say not to stress over it, but seeing how everyone’s TF is changing is making me really worried.

Ahhhhhh! My TF status just switched back to Under Review (it used to be complete). Why did that happen? Is this a bad sign?!?
@unicorncat91 Totally normal! From last years thread that was a really common thing where they’d move to compete after verifying the documents and then it would switch back. I would say that your status will most likely change back to complete on the morning of March 19th based on last years trend! looking very good for you!!
Urgh pretty sure Im not getting accepted at this point. Awkward. But its cool. Congrats guys, and hopefully maybe the TF just hasnt changed on my end yet
Yes @summersky2015 especially this year I’ve noticed that it’s most definitely the trend. The TF Status not changing until the very last minute for some.
Hey guys, I see everyone is talking about the TF. So on my end: I submitted everything on Wednesday March 4 (1 day before the due date).
They contacted me on Monday March 9 about more information about the college grants I received. I cleared it with them through email and they sent me an email back that said they have updated my information on my TF application (but that it will only be visible to them) and then they said - “you can expect to see an award offer on the day you receive your final admissions decision, provided you are accepted into the corps. Until that day, your status will show as “Under Review”.”
So I guess TFA is keeping them all in “Under Review” until admissions day?..

So, my documents have “YES” next to “Documents Verified by Transitional Funding.” But my “Need-Based Transitional Funding Application Status” is “Under Review.”
At this point the majority of us are Under Review @spottydotty. Most people see the Under Review status as a good sign, but I’m actually wondering if now they are just placing every Under Review, because they know that we know that a change in TF Status is generally considered a good indicator. I actually recieved two emails, asking for clarification on two separate issues from TF Support. My emails have only ever said " Please make sure to submit your required supporting document(s) by April 16, 2015 in order for us to be able to offer you an award package."
KEEP HOPE ALIVE @marydee and @TFA5thDL2015 a LOT of people last deadline didn’t report a change until literally the day before or the day of notifications.
Yeah I agree that TFA is keeping it secret. I just hoped my email would help shed some light on the topic.

I agree let’s keep busy! I think we all sound like great candidates for the TFA position! If we’re all nervous and anxious it means we really are passionate about TFAs mission. I’m hoping we all get in, but if we don’t that means something greater is to come. so let’s all stay hopeful and busy! Lol being busy helps!
