@NorCalTFA My interview was the 23rd.
gotcha, based on what I have read in this thread, all other applicants had the final decision (based on code) around the time they received their evaluation email. So, I am hoping for the best!
@tfaMathHopeful But I definitely agree about not getting hopes up. It is just incredibly hard to sit idly and not think about this!
Yeah I’m not getting my hopes up for the code especially because our process is a little bit different from the other deadlines with our region selection and stuff. So far no one has a rejection code yet for this deadline as well which throws me off a bit. I checked my code just a couple hours after my interview and it already said “assignment” so that is kind of suspicious too. Maybe I’m paranoid haha
@Infidelis yes, smart not to! However, it is interesting that “assignment” is what you would technically call the next step of the admissions process. Even listed on the TFA timeline. And if you recall, they input a lot of information and clicked a lot of boxes during the 1:1 interview. Perhaps there are just fewer people on this thread that are commenting from the 4th deadline! Just trying to remain hopeful, as you can probably tell ha!
@NorCalTFA Yeah true, I just keep second guessing myself a bit. I wonder if our interviewer was the person who made the final decision? Mine said she had read everything submitted so far
Btw did you guys get the survey they said they would send out? I didn’t get one yet
@Infidelis I think our 1:1 interviewer probably played a big part in our final decision since they read all of our materials, and talked with us personally.
I did get that survey.
Yeah, I think the interviewer may have had a lot to do with it. The admissions process takes all aspects of the process into consideration. Maybe final interview was a way of solidifying opinions on who would be a good . And yes I took the survey! It came about 1-2 days fter interview.
Oh I found the survey in my spam folder.
@NorCalTFA So where are you wanting to be placed?
@Infidelis if I get accepted, I would love to teach Special ed (maybe HS), or 3rd to 6th grade gen ed If I cant get a sped placement. As far as location goes, I am open to many different regions. Houston would be cool, and also DC, maybe Massachusetts. It mostly depends on which region I’d be most helpful in.
Hi everyone! I’m also waiting for this Tuesday’s notification! I want to be placed in California Capital Valley but I’m open to some other regions as well.
Hey @ssuTFA, welcome! Did you check your code as well?
@Infidelis yep, my code says “assignment”. I’m trying not to get my hopes up though!
So far everyone here from this deadline has “assignment” so maybe they changed something ? So nervous
@Infidelis Maybe that means we all got in! so nervous too… I’m just watching the hours go by.
Does anyone have an ExitCode?
From what I understood only people rejected had an exit code last time.
Were you guys overall confident with your interviews?
I wasnt super confident with my interview but I thought it went well overall. I dont have an exit code. Did you guys alll look under your profile page or was it somewhere else?
Do you know of anyone else that had the disposition code ASSIGNMENT and got in? I am waiting to hear back from TFA on the 31 and right now my code says ASSIGNMENT, but I don’t want to get my hopes up if its not true.
@ssuTFA I don’t have an exit code on my profile but if I go to the application center then I have an exit code that says “null”
