My timeline has disappeared . I am so anxious and cant keep from reading previous posts. I sure hope and pray that I I get accepted! Do you guys know who make the final decision?
@sswhite96 your interviewer makes a recommendation. Then your package goes through a computer algorithm probably looking for key words or certain gpas and achievements. Then that decision is reviewed by a final team. That’s what my interviewer told me.

@sswhite96 how long did it take for your timeline to disappear after your interview? Mine is still there…so I think I may have gotten rejected.
I had my interview on Tuesday 5/8. I am not sure when it disappeared.

I interviewed on a Thursday and mine was gone by Monday.
My timeline also just disappeared. Just checked it. Interviewed this past Wednesday. To be honest, became friends with the other interviewees and don’t wanna mention this to them in case any of their timelines don’t disappear/don’t want them being stressed. Gonna be wow’d if I actually get this as I don’t know yet how I will navigate education considering I didn’t go to college and get certified in education/probably won’t get TEFL/ESOL/ESL/ELL training by the time I graduate (which I really wanna get!!)
@QueerUniDeer the majority of TFA corps membera do not have degrees in Education, you’ll be just fine.
I realize they don’t, but going into these communities (I came from one that could have been considered a TFA region but is not, but fits it socioeconomically), I am very conscientious of my preparedness/what I bring if I get this and go into the classroom.

For those of you whose timelines disappeared: did you complete your coursework form before or after your timeline disappeared?
@cctfa321 I haven’t completed my coursework form yet as I haven’t yet gotten grades back from professors for this semester. Will probably push up to the deadline as I’ve asked professors about grades. My timeline has disappeared.
@cctfa321 I had mine done before I even interviewed.
@QueerUniDeer Just letting you know that you don’t have to have grades on there to input them if the class is still technically in progress. I had two classes that I was in the middle of during my interview process, so it’s not a big deal if you don’t have the grades. But, I understand wanting to include them.

Understood @HopingForTFA2019 as I can have them in progress, but the semester is over. It’s not a big deal in the end.
