for my penn application, I gave my teachers the Penn Specific recommendation forms because I liked them a lot... Does that mean I will have to use penn's application system instead of the common app now?

uh, need some people to respond...

I think so. You don't want to get the filing clerks confused and lose your recommendations/application forms.

bump.......

what im gonna do is to give my teachers a copy of the questions on penn's app b/c they're a lot more specific, and have them write the common app form but with those questions in mind...

According to our regional admissions rep, it is okay to use the penn teacher rec with the common app. However, the couselor rec must correspond to its respective application.

I faced the same problem earlier. One of the admissions staff I called up told me to be uniform: Common App Recs with Common App Report, Upenn Rec with Upenn report.

Ditto. I called and they said please do not mix applications. My son had given his teachers the common app teacher forms so he is doing the common app.

bump.........

we have to register the teachers online right?
