Do you think it would be OK to ask a private tutor or a language teacher from private language school to write a recommendation? Or do universities prefer it to be written by a school teacher?
I mean this required teacher recommendation (usually 2 of them), not "Other Recommender" recommendation.

<p>The required teacher recommendation should come from someone who has taught you for high school credit in a core class, not a private tutor or teacher in any other setting.</p>
