<p>Hi. For the recommendation, I submitted one junior teacher and one sophomore teacher recommendation. I did this without reading the recommendation requirements for Duke University, and I didn't know that they actually require both to be 11th or 12th grade teacher. Will they still accept this? Will they require me to send another additional recommendation past the deadline? Or will they completely deny my application?</p>

<p>Contact the admissions officer responsible for your region or the main office on Monday. I personally don’t think it’s going to be a deal breaker if you explain your situation, but then again, deadlines are deadlines. No matter what though, you need to let them know ASAP.</p>
