<p>I'm currently the second person on a waitlist for a section of Math 54 over the summer (session C). It's a 36 person class. Do you think I stand a good chance of getting in or am I screwed? I know if this was during the normal semester I'd be fine but this is my first experience dealing with summer wait lists. Anyways, I appreciate it.</p>

<p>I wouldn’t necessarily expect around 10%, but to be safe, I’m sure if you’re the 2nd on a group of 36, I’d say it’s pretty good chances. After all, people still might drop between the time now and when session C starts.</p>
<p>For example, I signed up for 128A this summer and I started out as 7th on the waistlist. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to just stay on it for a while, and 2-3 weeks later, I’m now the 3rd on the list.</p>
