International student from the middleeast (Mechanical Engineering) . My grades are:
TOEFL: 220 ( sucks )
SAT 1 math: 740 ( kinda good )
SAT 1 Verbal : 330 ( nobody is lower than me :p )
My highschool grades are high.
ill take the SAT II in Dec. what are my chances in Caltech, M.I.T, Stanford? less than 1% :P?

Your verbal is phenomenal :p Retake the verbal if you can (though I doubt you have the time). At least try for the ACT. Unless you're also taking the writing sat II in dec...

dude seriously your TOEFL and verbal score are reallly low. You need to retake those, to have a chance at any US university. Not to sound harsh, but if you are not very good in english, you will be in a lot of trouble academically and socially.

im good in english but my vocab sucks

English is mainly grammar and vocabulary. Therefore, to be good in the language you should possess knowledge of both. As for your chances, you can enhance them by retaking toefl and SAT. Many colleges have a minumum requirement for a language proficiency test, and I think that you do not meet that criterion. Raise it up to at least 240-250 and you'll be fine.

I believe MIT's minimum TOEFL score is 233.

thnx everybody

Out of curiousity, where from the Middle-East are you?

DUDE RETAKE IN JANUARY!!!!!!!!!! what aare your ECs

from Saudi Arabia
