<p>I’m definitely getting nervous… when do you think decisions will come out?</p>
<p>I think last year it was a few days before the end of April, like 25th or something, but I don’t really know what to expect this year…hopefully sometime very close to then.</p>

<p>Decisions will be emailed to us April 30th, 2013.</p>
<p>But of course, recall that acceptances went out first for finalists and for everyone else, significantly later. That may happen again this year.</p>
<p>Oh, where did you find that date? On the website I could only see “early May”.</p>
<p>I did have my interview pretty recently actually, it was fun. I’ll keep it at that for now haha, oh and I had three interviewers which was interesting.

<p>Oh, okay. Yeah, your interviewer is probably more up-to-date on this kind of thing than the website. Hopefully he/she was overestimating the time needed!</p>
<p>Haha well my interviewer sounded pretty certain. That’s a Monday or Tuesday if I’m correct, and they meet the weekend before to make all decisions.</p>

<p>Yeah my interviewers, which seem like they may have been the most recent, just said they convene in late April and that we should know by May. </p>

<p>I was reading the TASP 2011 thread (instead of doing something more useful, like, say, studying for APs), and somewhere in there said that they meet for two weekends, the first to make a short list and the second to make final decisions. So April 29th/30th does sound very very likely.</p>
<p>And according to earlier years’ threads, interviewers rank the candidates they interviewed…wow! I’m not sure how true that is. But I doubt each interviewer interviews the same number of applicants…what if one interviewer had to rank 2 TASPlications, while another had to rank, say, 5? Maybe I’m reading too much into this process…should focus on this research paper I’m supposed to be writing haha.</p>
<p>Ohh, I saw that too! I can actually believe that, but maybe it’s just used as a starting point for the decisions process rather than an ultra-rigorous method of selection.</p>
<p>And sigh, I’ve gotten to the point where I’m even DREAMING of getting my TASP notification…</p>
<p>but i feel like in the past two years the decision has been released on the 24th - 25th? i really hope that it comes out that week…</p>
<p>That’s because in the past couple years, the last Monday of April fell on or just before the 24th. Now that falls on the 30th…may as well just hinge on the 30th and be pleasantly (or not) surprised if it comes earlier, though I doubt it</p>
<p>I don’t want it to come so close to AP testing! Haha either decision will make me less motivated to do last-minute studying…</p>

<p>I can’t believe they make you wait until so late. If you don’t get in, it’s too late to apply for other summer programs.</p>
