@torre407512 they are! I received my decision letter / merit award within it a day after my acceptance was posted on TUportal!
@doyouressays the decision letter should be in the next steps box when you log onto tuportal!
@doyouressays if it’s not showing anymore it’s possible that you could’ve checked off the box that the letter is in. at the bottom of the next steps area, there’s a button that says show completed where your letter could possibly be!
@pupperlover yes- got an email. when i check my portal, on the left hand side it says admitted and under next steps it says you gave been accepted send housing deposit etc
yeah anyone know when financial aid comes out? or if mine say no award because of a special case? does temple send physical letters as well?
@future41 I don’t think anyone has an official award yet. Not sure when they’ll be ready though.
Just got a rejection on the portal, was not expecting this at all 
pretty high stats too, had a 3.75 w gpa and 1200 sat, almost certain I would get in.

@kaelen I also applied to nursing on September 4th and haven’t heard back yet. My hunch is that they send nursing acceptances out a little later because it’s a more competitive program. You have a good chance but nothing is guaranteed! Best of luck!

Son’s acceptance was posted on the portal on Monday but still no official letter on the portal. It isn’t in next steps at all.
As soon as I posted, the letter went up. lol
I just checked the portal and my decision is “on hold” what should I do now
@usimfaith I’m sorry you don’t have a definitive answer. I suppose you should call the admissions office and find out exactly what “on hold” means and if there’s anything you can do about it. Maybe offer to send in 1st quarter grades or get another rec letter or something. Good luck! You’ll definitely feel better taking active steps rather than just waiting. Let them see that you want it!
Has anyone that applied rolling decision heard back yet? I applied early October and still haven’t heard

Any Temple Musical Theatre applicants out there? My daughter just looked at her portal out of curiosity and we “think” it changed to say academic acceptance?! with a note saying School of Theatre will make a decision after her audition is completed. I had assumed we wouldn’t hear about the general Academic acceptance until after auditions. Anyone else who applied to Temple for theatre see a change in their portals? Just curious if we are reading that correctly?! It is a little confusing and we can’t 100% remember what that box on the portal said before since we hadn’t clicked on that portal since she applied months ago! Hope that makes sense?
