@sulu It takes a couple days, but it will be uploaded onto your portal (on the checklist). It will have an honors letter and a decision letter. Merit money will be in the decision letter.

@reineautress You can relax. You’re certainly getting in with those scores, likely Honors, too. The only question will be how much merit money they’ll give you. I bet it will be substantial. So take it easy. But I understand, waiting sucks.
@reineautress - Have you tried calling into Admissions? You can verify that they have all of your paperwork and then ask when the decision will be made.

@pennplz do you do anything on the side? Because if you think your stats aren’t gonna cut it (trust me, they are more than good enough to show that you can do the work), your EC’s could really help you, especially if they want to know more about your character. In all honesty they would rather admit a pure cinnamon roll with a lower GPA than an insufferable jackass, who licks tears of off people’s faces, with perfect #'s.
@elizf2299 haha yeah I totally get that. I run two non-profits and interned at USC’s medical center for the summer, among some other stuff but yeah

@reineautress hey, my school uses the regular GPA calculating method for all students, IB or not IB.
does anyone’s portal say “Standard” for admission type even if we applied as rolling?
@pennplz My D with similar stats and 3.6 GPA/1300 SAT got admitted earlier this week Full IB Diploma as well.so you should also hear back soon with positive news,

finally got accepted, I think. Under Your Account- Status it says “Admitted” on the top and below that it says University Acceptance and to check Next Steps for more info. However, on the Next Steps it still says the same thing, “All required documents have been received by our office and your application is complete and awaiting a decision! During peak admission periods, it may take more than 8 weeks for a decision to be made on your application. Thank you for your patience and continue to check here for your admission decision.” Will this change or will it stay like that?

I applied as rolling admission (I chose the school last minute b/c my counselor told me to apply to more schools)… When should I expect to receive a decision letter? I assume by February or March at this point.
