It said I have an invitation to the Honors Reception, does that mean I got into the Honors college? Also has anyone received any word about merit scholarships?

Congrats @reineautress ! Yes, in a few days two letters should appear under Next Steps on your portal. One will be your official acceptance letter which will contain the details of your merit award, the other letter will be your official invite to Honors. Congrats again, and I hope everyone else who has been waiting since 11/1 gets news soon!

Is it bad that I haven’t heard back from them at all.

Got accepted today at around 1:30! Good luck to everyone. If you applied EA you should know by january 31st the latest so don’t worry if they haven’t contacted you. They said an acceptance letter will be coming in the mail within the next 7-10 days, i’m assuming my financial package will be in their too.

Has anyone received their acceptance letter but has yet to hear about money?

If you’re getting money, its in the letter. If it’s not in the letter, no merit money is coming. Need-based aid comes out later. @izb123

I just checked my online letter and realized it said it there. Thanks!

I got rejected

I got admitted to Temple but the letter says nothing about any scholarships or money they are giving me, should I be concerned? I pretty sure I qualify for at least some money but does the absence of that mean I didn’t get anything?

Yes then you didn’t get any merit award. What are your stats? Also, please don’t post the same thing on multiple threads.

@drdesi9 are you talking about merit? Because that’s in the acceptance letter. Are you referring to need based aid? That comes in a few weeks.

Exciting day! Son is way more patient than me and doesn’t regularly check portals, but checked Temple’s today after having received an acceptance package in the mail, which mentioned that his formal letters were available on the portal. Just found out that I got into the Honors Program! I was accepted to Temple on November 14th, and saw my Honors acceptance during winter break. Planning on majoring in accounting.

GPA: 4.23 (W), 3.83(UW)
SAT: 1310(Superscored)

Still unsure of if I’ll be attending Temple. Waiting on UDel and La Salle. Temple was my #1 after I attended their open house, but they offered a 3,000 per year scholarship. I was hoping for a little bit more since other schools offered 10x that amount

Spring transfer student anxiously awaiting - I have received no acceptance email but when I log on the status that used to say APPLICANT now says STUDENT.
DOES THIS MEAN I AM ACCEPTED?

Just realized I got into the Honors Program for Finance!!! I’m shocked. Does anyone know any of the benefits for the honors program? I’m kinda of clueless.
GPA: 3.8
SAT: 1340
