EC: Nothing eye popping. I’m pretty lucky to get in I guess.
Is it too late to apply to Engineering Honors? My son did not get into University of Texas engineering and is now panicking about his other applications. The actual deadline for Temple says March 1, but will he still be able to apply for the program he is interested in? His stats are: SAT 1460, ACT 35, GPA 4.85. Any advice would be appreciated!!
@hockeymom2000 you don’t apply to honors at Temple, all applicants are considered but I would say he probably will get into honors with his stats. So hurry and get that app in!
Daughter’s TUPortal has changed…she has been accepted into the Fox Business School. Had to complete the financial aid forms for verification, so waiting for the award letter.
WHOOAHH! I GOT A FULL RIDE! I CAN’T BELIEVE IT! I was completely not expecting that!
Guys, anyone whose been Accepted, how did you find out about the financial aid you received ? Is it stated somewhere on the portal or do they send an email with the information ? Since, I am Accepted on the portal but haven’t received and email yet and I don’t know where I can find my financial aid information.

@Lilli369 Same with my son. The portal just changed to accepted & there’s been no email yet. I’m guessing we have to wait for the portal to update completely.

Has anyone that was placed on hold heard back from Temple with either an acceptance or denial yet?
@izzywil Yes - my son was accepted on Friday.
Currently on hold, says “until Early April”…I hope it comes sooner than that. Last school I am waiting on and top choice

Hi, Idk if anyone else is stuck in my situation, but I applied to Temple on 03/01/2018 as a transfer on Rolling Admission. I applied for the college of engineering for Construction Management Technology. For those that got accepted as a first time/transfer, how long did it take for you to get accepted? Also, did they send you an email when a decision has been made or did you just constantly check back on TU Portal? I’m honestly worried cause Temple is my top choice and waiting gets me all panicky.
My daughter got accepted 3 days ago after being on hold.Total relief!

My son was placed on “Hold” until his transcripts were received. Is this the same as waitlist?
A applied to Temple mid December and was put on hold sometime in February, and then waitlisted. Luckily just got an email today notifying me that I got in! IF YOU GOT WAITLISTED CHECK YOUR EMAIL OR THE PORTAL.
Just checked my portal (after a Deferral and a waitlist) and I was ACCEPTED!!! check your emails for updates!! WooooOOOOOO!!!
