I applied to Temple for Fox (OOS) with an EFC of 0. Can anybody who had the same situation share the amount of aid they received?
I’m not sure how this is going to help you. What Temple gives one student really has no bearing on what it gives another student in terms of need based aid. With an EFC of $0, you would get a $6095 Pell Grant, and a $5500 Direct Loan. The school does not guarantee to meet full need for all.
Are you a high stats student? High GPA and high SAT or ACT? If so, you might get some merit aid as well.
You probably might get a work study award. You might get a school grant.
Might.
Are you an instate applicant?
My D17 applied and was accepted to Temple, her first choice school. With a $0 EFC, she received Pell and state (PHEAA) grants, a small SEOG, work study, direct loan, but no institutional aid. As there was still a large gap, she had to decline admission. As mentioned above, if your stats are high, you may get merit and/or additional need-based aid. My understanding is that a lot of Temple’s need-based aid is targeted for local URM students.
Im out of state, 3.95 W GPA and an 1170 SAT.
Then they won’t give you any aid beside Pell and Federal loans, which all schools are required to give. If you want to attend college in Pennsylvania, run the NPC on Muhlenberg, Lycoming, Elizabethtown, Ursinus, Allegheny.
Does anyone know the minimum accepted stats to get into Business school? Is it extremely competitive like the Nursing school?
