Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted so far! Can you please post when you applied and if you applied EA or Rolling? My daughter applied 10/30, app completed 11/1, still waiting. My fb memories showed me that this was the date my son got his acceptance 2 years ago, lol. I thought they would be later since they pushed back EA. If I remember correctly, he saw his portal change to accepted early in the day, then by mid afternoon, his letters of acceptance were added to his portal. The university acceptance letter will list any merit, and the second letter was acceptance into Honors. Also, the financial aid tab didn’t show scholarships, that was updated in the spring with any grants or loan offers, not sure if that is the same procedure or not.
@jgmama My application was downloaded by Temple 11/1 and completed 11/2. I applied EA. My portal updated to “admitted” this morning, but I haven’t received any acceptance letters over the TUportal yet.
Applied October 30th, Accepted November 9th!! I was surprised to hear back soon and even more to be admitted, I don’t have the best grades so this is a huge weight off my shoulders! Good luck to everyone!
@riverandsasha3 I do think typically it is a day or two before your portal will update with the letters. I would check again in the morning. After my daughter submitted, it took a couple days to give her the link to self report her grades. Unfortunately, Temple is not her first choice, so she seems unconcerned with the wait, lol! I also seem to remember acceptances coming in clusters by the school you applied to. My son is a current sophomore and LOVES Temple!

I applied to Temple on 10/14, my application was completed on or around 10/20 and was marked as awaiting a decision. I received my acceptance today 11/10.
For reference, my GPA was 3.98W and ACT was 27.

Forgive me if this was asked already but… If I got accepted yesterday via the portal will they send a email or snail mail official letter with more information?
S did not receive an email, but a letter was just posted to his portal. He received the Founder’s Scholarship - $5000/year (in-state). So proud of him! Good luck to all. Go and check those portals!!
@momandslp Still don’t think I’ve received any updates. Where in the portal should the letter be posted? Also, congratulations!
@riverandsasha3 It is in the center area of the portal. It has 4 items now where yesterday it had 3. If a student gets into Honors, I think they will have 5 items. Not expecting that though. Thrilled with $5000/year for in-state. Good luck everyone!

@Noahscott13 On the Temple portal in the center section. New notification indicates that the official decision letter is ready and when you click that, the letter is downloaded. The scholarship information is in the body of the letter. I am sure it’s just taking time to load letters. Good luck everyone!
We received the admission decision document in the portal also. She got Provost’s scholarship with $18K/year and no honors letter yet. We are OOS so that still leave us with about 30K/year for COA.
@ttb1263 Congrats! The honors letter will come later maybe. As I said, not expecting it for S. D17 received Presidential (full tuition) and Honors, but she was much higher stats, had leadership roles, very good extracurriculars and lots of volunteer experience. Good luck! I suspect you will hear good news.
