Junior year:
Advanced Calculus
AP Biology
AP US History
AP English Language
AP French
AP Computer Science A
AP Economics

Our school combines AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics into a single class. Advanced Calculus is what we take after AP Calculus AB; it’s the concepts in BC but not in AB along with more multivariate / vector calculus. Some students take the BC test at the end, but it doesn’t really matter.

Planned senior year schedule:
Differential Equations
Honors French 6
AP English Literature
AP Comp. Gov.
AP Physics C: Mechanics
AP Environmental Science
AP Statistics OR something else

@SaintSaens - I completely understand what you mean. Although it is possible to take a decent amount of APs at my school, you can’t take any before junior year. I am taking 4 this year as a junior and it is tied for the most in my grade. Also, we can ony take 6 classes a year and my school is very particular about what you can add/drop (I will also add that this includes art and we are not required to take health or gym). Our classes do tend to be extremely difficult compared with neighboring school, AP or not, so I’m happy about the education I’m getting and not worrying about the tests I am elligible to take. Colleges definitely look at your course load compared with your high school, so it all works out in the end.

Also for anyone taking MVC or DiffEq, where are you taking it? I will be doing an online course through Suffolk U which my school is very kindly paying for, but I was wondering what other options are out there and/or if any high schools actually offer this course.

Senior Year (unofficial):
AP Biology
AP Chemistry
AP English Literature
AP Statistics
AP French
AP U.S. Government/AP Economics

I shake my fist at my stupid French class this year for messing up my schedule so that I couldn’t take AP Chemistry. AP French will be easy next year since I’m taking the class right now for prep credit (combo class so that it won’t be cut). Easy A in Stats and semi-easy A’s in Bio and Chem even though we don’t learn anything. Chill year :D

@aigiqinf - do you have block scheduling?? Because the administration said a college course would not be possible (and we are literally 5 minutes from Villanova!) due to scheduling. Thus the reason I will be spending one class period in the corner of the library with my laptop :(

my schedule for senior year:
AP English
AP Spanish
AP Chem
Art
Multivariable Calculus
APUSH III/AP Comparative Govt & Politics
Ethics/Christian Relationships

MVC is actually offered at my school, to answer the question of FBItomboy007. it’s a dual credit course with a local university.

Junior Year:
AP Calc BC
AP Bio
AP Physics B (grrr… why cant my school have C???)
Honors English (bleh)
APUSH
Theater

Senior Year:
AP Stats
Multivar (@flagship)
Neuroscience
Econ/Biotech
AP Psych
AP Lit
Hopefully calc-based physics @ flagship if I “accidently” sign up for an extra class.

I hate how schools limit how many classes one can take!

I can only take six classes. I want to take more than six…

AP Physics (B, but I’m going to harass the teacher about letting me do C)
AP Chem
AP Lit
AP Econ (online?)
AP US Gov (online?)
AP French (ish…)
AP ? (if offered at a good time)
Band (isn’t going to happen…)
Gym (or extra after-school sports, or before-school weights)

I’ll either be self-studying from interesting problem collections or doing Calc III at the local state U.

@ romanigypsyeyes: Yes, because APUSH gives the most amount of hw out of all of the APs, I believe (All the others on my list are OK, hw load speaking)…I don’t know anyone in Honors who complains, but the APUSH people always do…

Thank you. Part of having fun in school is knowing what classes you like. I’m glad I get these opportunities. On the other hand, I wish I could have handled AP Lit or AP Bio next year. Seeing how I’m sleep deprived all the time, it won’t be healthy.

AP Lit
AP Chem
AP Euro
Precalc (not sure if my school offers honors)
Physics Honors
Economics Honors/American Gov’t
Study Hall (I don’t know how I feel about this, might change it to an actual class)
