My GPA for my freshmen and sophomore year goes as (all weighted):
Freshmen: 4.2
Sophomore: 4.3
but by the end of this first semester of my junior year my GPA will be around a 3.6-3.7 which is a major drop when I know colleges look for progression. Is this a bad sign for me? How much consideration do colleges take in account for GPA? I’m worried I won’t get into colleges I’m looking at (SLU, Indiana University). Thanks
What are your UW GPAs?
That is a pretty steep drop but colleges will somewhat understand it. Just try hard second semester to get a higher GPA or even your highest GPA you have ever had.
What is your course schedule, is it rigorous?
UW around a 3.5/3.6 for freshmen and sophomore. I plan on getting above 4.0 next semester for sure but I’m not sure on if colleges will still be interested after that steep of a drop. All three years I’ve taken all honor/ AP courses, but I’ve dropped to regular English this year. Otherwise I’m still in all AP
