Maaaan I just checked my SAT Score, and I'm just devastated with the score I have! I feel like I won't get into any college I want. I got a 1480/2400, and the other bad thing is, I'm about to be a senior!!!!! I have no clue how improve, I just feel like crying. I got a 620 on math, 420 in CR, and 410 on writing. How in the world do I improve!? Plz help

sit down with a SAT prep book over the summer and practice, practice, practice. if you’re a senior next year (like me), you still have ~2 tests you can still take. and relax - lots of time. :)

In my case, writing was easy to improve. First learn (or brush up on) some of the grammar rules. You can find these rules in many places (Prep Books and/or Silverturtles guide). I got 560 on my blue book diagnostic/benchmark test, but after a week or so of studying, I’ve been getting between 650-750 (this score is assuming I get an 8 on the essay).

For Math, I recommend practice, practice, and more practice. This might not correlate with the SAT I math, but for Math level 1, I got 620 on my benchmark score. All I did to raise my score was to take 2-3 tests a day, and look over my answers. Again, after a week or so, I recalled concepts and strategies easily and was able to get a 790 on the next diagnostic test.

I struggle with CR myself, and I doubt I would be able to give you any useful advice. That said, I would check out silverturtles sat guide - I’ve heard only good things. Oh, and Direct hits volume 1 and 2.

So work on Writing by practicing and same with math. But how do you improve on the Reading???
