<p>cumulative 3.63 / 4.4</p>
<p>(unweighted = out of 4)/(weighted= out of 5)</p>
<p>EC: 2 hours weekly at local hospitalallstate orch(frosh/soph), allnorthwest orch (junior), districts/state golf qualifier (junior year), 300 hrs community service</p>
<p>3 AP's sophomore year
5 AP's junior year + 2 AP's self study
7 AP's senior year (planned)</p>

<p>You have a shot, but follow my advice (on other threads) about how to maximize your essays & recs.</p>
<p>Can't hurt to apply! And if it's your top choice, apply early. I'd try and explain those sophomore grades though, if at all possible, either in your essay or by trying to talk your college counselor into doing it for you in the school's eval of you.</p>

<p>Are there some ways for compensating my low UW GPA? Although I took quite a rigorous AP schedule, I'd think that even perfect SAT I and II scores won't be much to make up for it.</p>
