Testing and rescinding offers of admission

Hey everyone,

I'm a bit worried. Actually, I'm pretty darn scared. I was originally predicted at a 41 or 42 out of 45 for the IB Diploma. However, I've been hit by some senioritis, and believe it or not, I actually WANT to take college distribution requirements and intro classes (hooray interesting college classes). Therefore my motivation to study for my IB exams has been 0 because I'm not really looking to get any credit.

My GPA and my class rank is fine but now I'm pretty sure that I'm going to get a 4 out of 7 for one class (not related to my major) and one or two point drops (from my predicted grades) in a few other classes. Is this reason enough to rescind my application? As for my colleges, I've enrolled at Tufts and I'm fairly close to getting off the Stanford waitlist.

I'd appreciate some honest opinions!
Thanks for your help!

Hey, im taking my IB exams as well. but, colleges in america dont care about these test scores, they just want you to do well in your class grades. The exams are just to get college credit, not to get admission.

Bad AP/IB test scores will not effect your admissions decision, only your placement in classes. The search tool is a beautiful feature…

^ Isn’t it? There was one thread on IB testing. Thought I’d get some second opinions. And my Tufts student info booklet seems to think so otherwise.

Sorry, sorry. It just seems like this question comes up all the time (generally AP over IB, but same principles apply). And oh? Never heard anything of the sort. What exactly does the booklet say?
