OK, I called Housing and there was a glitch. The issue was that my son applied to TAMU Galveston separately, and was also accepted to Engineering there. The housing department had to override the system, since my son already accepted the offer in CS and scheduled his NSC. The application page popped right up and now he’s all set! Thanks all!

Last few years December through March.
My daughter got into Mays last week. Non-auto, 31 ACT, 3.98 GPA, in state. Hope that helps!

I have a question about engineering honors program. Did they change requirements this year? I saw that last year they required 1 essay and now there are 4. When they review honors application, do they have access to applicant’s essays in common app?

Your “Howdy Portal” switches from 3 to 7 Tabs when accepted.
Being non-top 10%, my kid was put in ‘1st Quarter’ class rank, although the actual school rank would be in top 12%. Does this sound right? Does the Test Score play a role to estimate rank? Pleas share if anyone else saw the same. Thanks.

If you’re not in the top 10%, AIS will run an algorithm (apparently based on SAT/ACT scores and other information they have) to give you a ranking. Top quarter sounds right here since there isn’t anything in between top 10% and top 25%.

Someone earlier mentioned getting into Mays as an in-state holistic review with a 31 ACT and 3.98 GPA. Not sure what yours is but I think it was in this thread where I posted a link to an A&M website where you can look up SAT/ACT scores by college.

Still waiting on 7 tabs and an admission decision, but noticed that my daughter’s name is in the student directory. Also, she was inadvertently logged into a TAMU Microsoft acct. which had her TAMU email listed. Does this have any meaning?
