Does anyone know whether package deliveries will be accepted at the dorms next week? My D wants some textbooks from Amazon, but doesn't know what will happen if they're delivered when no one is there.

I'm not sure but I was wondering the same thing... I ordered my textbooks through Amazon and hopefully I'll be able to pick them up at the post office, at least.

Were you able to find the ISBN numbers or did you just order from Amazon using the book title and author which were shown on the ND bookstore website? The edition was shown for only 2 of S's books for next semester.

If packages are delivered to ND post office, I imagine they will just stay put until semester begins and dorms reopen. If they are being delivered by UPS, you might try to get in touch with Rector of dorm. A signature may be required as I am sure UPS will not just leave packages at a dorm on the outside like they do for regular home delivery. It is quite possible that Rector/Asst RAs for dorms may be on campus at this time.

Fortunately, the bookstore website provided the author edition for all my books, but I'd check for an ISBN or e-mail the professor just to check. Professors respond quite quickly and are usually happy to help.

geesh, I hope the books will arrive, S is having them shipped there!!!!
