We are heading down to visit my son over Thanksgiving break. Is there anything open for dinner on Turkey Day? In reading early posts, Ferguson used to host a Turkey dinner for students on campus that cost about $5. Also, what would be a couple of good things to do . I know Iron Bowl is Sat.

At least 2 years ago when I was there, I don’t believe the Ferg had T-day dinner. I have seen A LOT of recommendations for The Bright Star in Bessemer (that I believe has a special T’day menu), but I haven’t been there personally. When I was there for the last home Iron Bowl son and I just made a traditional dinner in his apartment.
I’ll also be there again this year and other than game day on Saturday and T’day dinner, we’ll probably just ‘enjoy’ some ‘Black Friday’ shopping if only for the people watching experience.
I don’t think The Ferg does Tgiving anymore. You could email Bama Dining and ask…
