Thanksgiving..better to leave from Boston or Providence to West Coast

I want to book my daughter’s trip home for Thanksgiving. Is it better to leave from Boston and take a nonstop flight, or to leave from Providence and take a one stop?

Considerations:

Boston: Is it a hassle to take a bus from Providence to Boston’s Logan Airport and to take a return bus at the end of the week?

Providence: Is the risk of a delay in making flight connections that week too great?

Thanks.

Everyone tells me that Logan is a nightmare and people often go to Providence from Boston just for ease of flying out.

I don't know how your dd got to Brown, but mine went red eye from SFO, changed in Cleveland and had no problem. Took a cab from the airport to Brown for $15--it waited while she registered then drove her to her dorm.

Thanksgiving is rough flying time. I haven't check the dates yet cause she is likely going somewhere else, but if dd doesn't have to fly on critical dates with uncertain connections go Providence. Otherwise go Providence, what can I say.
