Yes it is. Although one kid in my group has to take a 00 class. No offense to him, but should you really be in college, UMD no less, if you can't pass a math placement test? I got a 75% on it, and I still got into 220. I can't even imagine what he had to get.

I was in a good mood when the test started because everything was all fun but by the end of the test I just wanted to sleep. I was SO tired. The procter said that the best of three scores count(AP test scores, SAT, and the MPE). I knew I would place ok because of my 770 dominance of the math SAT so I really didn't want to take the test at all. I placed 220 on the test and that is fine with me. I got 140 because of my math but no way am I going to do 140. I am not even taking a math right now. If my AP score on AB calc is a 4 I place out of 220 and that would be awesome.

Hmm, I took the test. However, the calc i was given, i had no idea how to convert to radians and whatever, so my trig score was horrible, thus bumping me all the way down to 015 (im doing comp sci so my 670 math score aint going to do anything).

so im borrowing my friend's calc (i know how to use it) and retaking the test in about 2 weeks (there is no way i am going to get up at 8 every day to go to math 015)

No. 015 is a noncredit course to prepare to you take 115. You also have to pay extra money to take it. No offense meant to the previous poster, especially because he said he was having calculator issues, but in simple terms it is a remedial class.
