<p>Has anyone else recieved a little pamphlet isssued by the Geneseo FYI (First Year Institute) about a hiking/campingish thing over the summer? </p>

<p>Apparantly you earn 1 credit hour in a First-year seminar course</p>

<p>It seems to be limited to 16 students a session, and there are four sessions. It also costs money. $525, to be exact. </p>

<p>I'm very new to this whole college thing, so I'm not sure how much a benefit 1 seminar credit would be?</p>

<p>I didn't go because it didn't seem like it was worth it. None of my upperclassmen friends bothered to attend it too.. of course don't decide based on me haha :x</p>

<p>but i'm outdoor-sy and i just think it sounds like fun. it's a chance to meet people if nothing else.</p>
