I went hysterical when I saw the big envelope from Cornell in the mailbox, because I didn't think I would get an admission decision so soon. When I tore it open and looked at it, I threw it to the floor in disappointment: It was just a stupid brochure for the College of Industrial and Labor Relations. Why did they send this to me? to tease me?! Shouldn't they know I already applied ED so they wouldn't waste brochures, telling me to consider applying to Cornell.
Anyway, I guess we'll all just have to waste a few more days to get a real decision letter...

yah, i can see how that is very annoying.
that happened to me too, with the CALS.

that's so mean. why would they send you something right before acceptances come out? maybe that means you guys got in already...

I received a giant book from Cornell. It's the Courses of Study book...does that mean anything? ahah it basically shows all teh courses in the college

lol i dont think so kkl, i got one last year before I even applied.

hahah "the big letter arrived" nice one.
yeahh that happened to me right after i sent in my part II.. i was watching television in my room and my dad walks in and says "look what i've got" it was a big envelope from cornell.. and so of course, i was excited, and then realized "wait.. hold on. umm i've only just sent in my part II." as expected, it was a brochure for college of agriculture and life sciences. pfft. way to be cornell. way to be.

when you go to fairs and visit and request info, they send you stuff but with a delay. Its completely unrelated to whether you've applied already or not.

deceptive title

the same thing happened to me! except i'm an ED Penn-er.

You actually got the courses of study mailed to you? I only have one because I stole it during an information meeting...lol..

Lol, yesterday(only 3 days from ED decision) I got a brochure about the Human Ecology college. Cornell may have sent this a while back because I live in Texas.(could have taken more time to arrive) I'm guessing this is a neither good nor bad sign?

What part of Texas are you from?

Sugar Land.. it's right outside of the Houston area.
