<p>Sorry for my ignornance - what is meant by "Cap 21 (Final)". I get the CAP 21 part and the part about NYU not releasing the RD until April. What does final mean? Are they posting info. somewhere about your status?</p>

<p>Final is because we did early decision, so we have no other options. I figured we'd just write final, because in thats where we are going.</p>

<p>I think the acceptances list will eventually note "final" to let others know where the student is matriculating since some students got into more than one school. Knowing the "final" destination is helpful so that readers can hook up with anyone else headed to the same program. For the ED students, we can already say "final" as ED is binding.</p>

<p>Congrats!! I also received an email notifying me of my acceptance to Syracuse University for the Musical Theatre BFA program this morning. A friend of mine received a letter in the mail yestrerday (she lives in upstate NY), and I know others had received phone calls over the course of the past few days, so if anyone has yet to hear anything yet, I wouldn't weigh that too much as they're obviously notifying students in various ways. Good luck everyone!!</p>

<p>I can't tell you Syracuse's numbers this year. Last year on our audition date, they said that 400 audition for MT, they accept 40 to yield 20 in the class. I think the classes really do number about 20 per year. Remember, most schools accept more than actually enroll.</p>

<p>Unfourtunately, I didn't get into Syracuse.</p>
