Hi, Im currently a sophomore enrolled at a better than average school with a 3.7 GPA, in my freshman year, I got 3 C's in my Spanish class. Since then, I have improved my grades in Spanish 3 to an A- for the year so far. I'd like to go to an excellent college, but I wonder how this will effect me. Does anyone have an answer? I do not intend on studying it in college btw.

Well, obviously it would be ideal to have straight As from the get-go, but if you are going to have a few low grades, freshman year is the time to get them. Schools like to see an upward grade trajectory, and some do not look at freshman grades at all. So just keep on truckin’ and keep your grades in Spanish and everything else high from now on.
