The Daily Show vs. The Colbert Report

Is it just me or is The Colbert Report more funnier than The Daily Show? I used to watch both shows in a row, but now i find myself only watching The Colbert Report.

I watch both and I think that each show is funny in its own way. The Daily Show is straight humorous commentary on the news. Colbert Report is more subtle but still very funny.

I find the Daily show more funny. I like a lot of the Colbert Report interviews, but some of the segments are just kind of old now. John Stewart is more funny I think though, Colbert just gets all of his humor from saying things like, "Are you for the war in Iraq, or do you hate America?"

I think jon stewart tries to stick in his own political oppinions too much. He really isnt a funny guy, especilly when every other comment of his is a knock on bush.

Colbert is just a funnier guy, but the segments on the daily show are better

I hate watching Colbert..hes not funny..he was good as a correspondant on Daily Show but now hes just trying too hard

and ur right about Colbert's humor coming from stupid saying...including "you're on notice" WHAT IS THAT!

I watch both shows, and I think both are equally funny. However, I like Colbert's interviews more than Stewart's.

Stephen Colbert is the man.

I think Steven Colbert does a better job at fake news. John Stewart still has the "funnyman" persona, while Steven Colbert deliberately plays the role of the idiot news reporter... Steven Colbert is a better actor, and plays a better character than John Stewart.

Colbert Report>>>>>Daily Show

My fav Colbert comment of all time was actually aired on 60 min a few days ago, but anyways, he asked the representative from Ohio what it was about her state that made ppl want to "flee the Earth." I laughed for about an hour...no joke. So definitely Colbert. He rocks my very small world.

My favorite one is the follow up to the Wexler interview :)
Truly a must watch.

Is it just me, or do a lot of the guests/viewers on the colbert report not get it? it's like they don't know he's joking.

I often wonder if they get it, as well.

Both are pretty good, but

Daily Show >>>>>>>>> Colbert Report

The former, unlike that later, isn't based on a single parody.

Colbert is my hero. I loved the segment on curing stupidity. =P

Colbert just added a certain something to the Daily Show that it hasn't been able to get back since he left. He was just perfect on the show. I like his character on the Report, but it's nothing like the guy he portrayed on the Daily Show.

I find them equal, John Stewart acts more intelligently and Colbert tries to act wacky on purpose. Their suppossed to be yin and yang, liberal and republican, down to earth and sarcastic.

colbert and jon are funny. thats the end of this topic. to say one is better than the other is blasphemous.

I've only watched the Colbert Report. Haven't seen the Daily Show.

I think Colbert is funnier than the Daily Show. Colbert is more comedy based than the Daily Show. The daily show still provides news and current events, but with less satire.
