So, NYU's biggest attraction is the New York City, which is conveniently the home to a number of great television shows. Does anyone know of NYU students getting internships at The Daily Show (have been watching it since the pitiful Craig Kilbourne days) or Colbert Report (I applied to NYU's film school). I know my question is very specific, but any answer would be great!

yes they have. but there isn't a special connection or anything. It's just more nyc students get them in the fall and spring because they're actually around.

Yes, its competitive, but one of the kids on my floor sophomore year got a colbert report internship.

That is amazing. I really, really, really, want The Daily show internship next year (assuming I get in to NYU) and I am willing to battle to the death with the other intern-hopefulls Mortal Kombat style.

two years. you have to be a sophomore to intern with them. You also need to obtain credit for yout internship. So if you're a tischie... you'll get to wait till at least second semester sophomore year.
