The Dreaded UC Personal Statement!

<p>Hi!
So, I'm applying to the UC's this coming November and the personal statement is by far one of the biggest deals for me. I feel that if i don't nail this essay, the college truly can't see who I am and I feel that it is very important. I'm a transfer student and I began my essay in May. I'm halfway done with the first prompt now. </p>

<p>I'm just curious to know the people out there who got into the UC's, what UC you got into, and advice on specifics to writing this statement.</p>

<p>I have the same question. I have gone onto the Berkeley site for writing your personal statement and it helps a little bit. But i need to know what really needs to be in the essay and what the admins are looking for.
