anyway, whichever one you choose, glad i could help!

SEM 1 RUIZ, T.F.
Class Title: Mysteries of Renaissance: Astrology, Alchemy, Hermeticism, Magic, and Birth of New Science

hmm..

i never heard of sophomore seminars... http://www.college.ucla.edu/ge/0607sophsemlist.pdf

i already took a freshman cluster though. am i still eligible?

Any feedback on Neurosci 10? Is it easy?

What about Classics 20?

Don't take E & S 8 Earthquakes unless you have a thing for Geology

So boring... unless you have the self-control to listen to the Professor explain slides that he gives to you over the internet. He literally just restates the slides and does other small stuff and boredom= lower grade.

Edit: Sorry to be a nooby, but does a Seminar class under Society and Culture go towards that GE Requirement or just it fulfill only the Seminar aspect (which seems to no longer be needed)

How is Mcdonnell for Classic 51B (Art and Archaeology for Ancient Rome)?

My second pass just started and I'm thinking of dropping my cluster for an easier GE that does not require as much reading/writing...

EES 16, anyone?

hey can anyone thats taken arts and architecture (arts encounters 10) help me out.

can someone send me one of their performance reviews so i can get an idea of how to write them? mine seem kinda bland and i need direction.

was the final a lot harder than the midterm? i dont get it...we only had 5 lectures after the midterm and then student performances started. will the performances be on the test?

also, can i still get an A without doing the extra credit presentation? a lot of people say that its really hard to do it without it, so im freakin out. i got an A on the midterm, though..

has anyone taken history 1b with mcclendon or history 11b with burnhardt?

i took 11b with bernhardt

shes a great lecturer and really knows her stuff...that said, there was a lot of paper writing in the class. but i definitely recommend taking the class...you learn a lot about chinese history

has anyone ever taken hist4 - intro to history of religions? prof is BARTCHY

Regarding paper writing in history 11b, can you specify how much "alot" is...?

i think i saw a neurosci 10 review--there's a peak of ppl getting As as well as Bs and they are equal amounts of ppl. So i won't say it's easy. easy i'd say are those classes where there's a huuuge A peak.

What do you think about an ls major with a horrible science GPA taking MIMG 6 just to boost GPA? i signed up for it, but idk if it's worth it. haha.

anyone know how microbioloigy(introduction) is? easy? hard? Boring?

hey can anyone tell me more about GEOG 3 and LING 1?

thanks

Is ling 1 lingusitics 1? If it is, I just took the class and loved it. The reading is pretty interesting and the only part i didn't like is pretty much only the part where you have to anaylze words into sound(since I have an accent it was really hard for me to do).

anyone know about linguistics 20? i was thinking about ling 1, but the prof this quarter is horrible and the times suck. ling 20 fits in perfect but theres nothing about professor hallman on bruinwalk and its never been talked about on this forum yet.
