Geography 5 w/ Gillespie. The “lab” consists of doing things like watching An Inconvenient Truth.

Could someone explain the difference between Statistics 10 and Statistics 13?

Whats with the Easy GE List? It makes no sense. For your major, dont they give you the GE’s your supposed to take on the DPR?

What?

They let you choose from like 50+ ge’s, they just say you have to take a certain number from a specific category etc. It makes perfect sense and it is pretty self explanatory, it is you that makes no sense.

Also, why are you so melodramatic in pretty much all of your posts?

Thanks, I wasn’t sure, because the DPR seemed preety clear, so thanks for clarifying it for me, and trying to make me feel like an idiot on the way… im not being melodramatic, i was just confused, thats why im on this website, to seek guidance and clear any confusion I have. & as for my other posts, im sure youd be scared if you were asked to pay over half your family’s salary. Its so easy for people to judge, when their not in your situation. BESIDES THAT little rif…

My DPR says One course in Literary & Cultural Analysis , so does anyone know an easy ge for that.

How is history 20 with MOKHBERI?

Heheh this thread/almost all the ucla threads are hilarious. I hope the school offers the same kind of amusement irl

I gave up looking for a GE that piqued my interests and fit into my schedule and finals schedule. There seems to be no such GE in existense, whee~

Has anybody taken Women’s Studies 10? If so, how was it?

themoonisdown, Women’s Studies 10 was an awesome class. I took it with Hammer, and I would highly recommend taking it with her (it really does matter who you take it with). It changed my way of thinking and looking at the world. In hindsight, if I were to identify one undergraduate class that really made an impact on me, it would be this one.

^Do guys take that class too?

I want a fun GE, but all the “good” ones are already taken.

should I swap art and arc 10 for earth and science 8 earthquakes? I know it will be more boring, but would it be hard? It would give me a 4 day weekend for the first quarter.

I am taking

Astronomy 4 black holes
History 8A latin something

Thanks

I feel like art and arc 10 will still feel like a 4 day weekend.

hahaha what do you exactly do in A+A 10 that makes it so ez

how is Life Science 1 with PIRES? I’ve been hearing different opinions about this class…

Bruinwalk gives Pires pretty terrible reviews overall, but I don’t know personally…

She’s a good lecturer, but you’ll work your ass off. LS 1 - she self proclaims that she makes you memorize everything. (it’s that beginning of AP Bio phylogeny junk)

anybody know how econ 101 and management 1B are?

thanks

Is AA10 really that easy? I am getting mixed vibes for prof winter on bruinwalk…

does anyone know how the film and music class is?

What about E&S SCI 15 with SCHAUBLE? I heard that he doesn’t go over everything that gets tested, and gets boring sometimes, but as long as you keep up with the reading and stuff, you can do well…?
