The "Easy GE" List

How much does TAs matter in AA10?

GREATLY. They’re the ones who do all the grading and their standards can differ greatly. Now things may have changed since I took it 2 years ago but don’t make the assumption that it’s a slam dunk easy A course…

the TA’s only matter for your 5 performance reviews. you dont really learn anything in discussion…i dont think anyone would go if attendance were not taken. i had a chick named alison spieth or something…got an A on all my papers.

What exactly are these performance reviews all about? Are they just 1 page?

And how did you pick the 5 outside performances that you did them on, did you just see what was going on at UCLA and pick a few then search for outside ucla performances? Any suggestions on what to pick for the 2 outside ucla performance reviews?

so the 3 UCLA ones are easy to find…he will post stuff on his website and you register using UCLA Live (he will give you instructions). for one outside performance you can go to fowler museum (i know, its not technically outside ucla, but it counts) or the hammer museum…for the second i would recommend just finding a musical somewhere around LA. i went to spring awakening and it was pretty good actually.

he will give you guidelines on the reviews. theyre easy.

ok cool thank you for the info

most people agree that Astro 3 is an easy GE, but there isnt much on Malkan for the class on bruinwalk, anyone know how he is with that class?

Can anyone comment on
Hist 1A with Geary, and
Neuro 10 with Levine, M.S/Watson, J.B

Yeah, I also want to know what binta92 is asking: is Malkan good for Astro3?

Also, how’s E&S SCI 1F with Bird like? What exactly is field trip? Is that fun or educational?

I took NS 10 during last winter. It’s a very interesting class, both are great professors, and the grading scheme is good (3 tests, each worth 1/3 of the grade and each is non cumulative). However, the material is hard, although I’m not a very science-y person.

mann so your saying its a difficult ge? what did you get in the class, how was it weighted?

LS1 and 2

Cruel Mr. Spam, Cruel.

To get off the subject, can someone tell me what kind of class fullfills “writing requirement II”? I know Engl 3 satisfies “writing requirement I”, which i don’t need since i scored a 4 on AP English. Help, please?

the ones with the fatty bold W next to them on the GE list pdfs
