The Grand Battle of "acted upon" vs. "in review" get your tickets!!

<p>ok, ive came to a SET CONCLUSION!!!--------almost</p>

<p>for those that have "acted upon" on 3/29 have been rejected (as of people i asked)
and for those that in "in review" 3/26 then changed 3/29 are in (as of people i asked)</p>

<p>in our school, so far, 4 people have been accepted to USC... all their apps said in review at the same time mine said acted upon (i got rejected).
And the other 5 people from my school that got rejected had "acted upon" after their status hasnt changed in over 2 months
For example:</p>

<p>mine said, surprisingly, "in review" on status last updated 1/30/08</p>

<p>then.... about two days before the mail was said to have been sent out, mine suddenly changed to "acted upon" 3/29</p>

<p>got my mail today..rejected</p>

<p>i believe if yours has been constantly updating, then your looking pretty good at this point.</p>

<p>Hope this helps some of you who are looking for some contrast in opinions</p>

<p>Hopefully I'm at least a spring admit. :-D Mine says "in review" since 3/27.</p>

<p>looks pretty good =) keep your hopes up. seems like 3.8 GPA+ and 2100+ SAT have more chance.. soo if your around there, your set =) good luck!</p>

<p>from my observations, those that have consistantly been changing OR is still in review at the moment have gotten in.
In your case, im kinda speechless. Its on the fence.=P</p>

<p>and others just went from whatever, whenever to acted on on 3/29??</p>

<p>the reason im asking is bc i was out of town from the 21st through the 30th and so i didnt check my status anytime between those dates. and now im on 3/29.</p>

mine changed so many times let see
it first went into prelim review
then review then it asked for my mid year grades then on (3/4) it said they received the grades and then on around 3/26 it went into review and on 3/29 it had acted upon
haha any thoughts</p>

<p>yah a few friends of mine have had that situation. about 1 or 2 that got accepted still says "in review" on their online status check</p>

<p>woah my status went like that too! 3/26 in review to 3/29 acted.....i dont really care anymore but thats a cool little thing to maybe keep in mind. if not its off to liver disease at UCSB hahahaha</p>

<p>i went into review on 3/7, but the last updated date didn't change until 3/25 or 3/26...(it said "last updated 12/17 until the 25th/26th).. i dont really remember. it then went to acted upon on 3/29. i dont know what this means, i feel like nobody else was in my situation (with weird date changes, etc)</p>
