I agree with you Alec 100%. HP= fail.

No, you suck. I’ve seen every HP movie since the third movie on opening night lol. A bunch of friends and I even marathoned the entire series the day before it came out. And I agree with impetuous.

There’s a Harry Potter thing going on right now on the Biography Channel lol.

Aw, I love the series lol, books and movies. Great soundtrack, adventurous story, nice pictures. And as for the whole ‘fight like a man’ thing, idk, I think that would defeat the purpose of him being a wizard if he just fought regular-people way.

Well I thought they were quite entertaining.

This. Man, I wanna go to Brown now. I wonder why. ;D

Don’t worry, there were tons of people crying when Dobby died when I watched it. For me the most emotional part was with Hermione and her parents at the start of the movie. Idk why, but that really struck a chord with me, I could never imagine having to do that, and I think it conveyed the seriousness of the whole overall situation of the movie well. Dobby was one of my favorite parts though; he was so hilarious. Almost made you forget how goddamn annoying he was in the 2nd movie x)

Hahaha, I second that. I want to go to Brown for more reasons than just Emma though ;)

“I bet you think the Twilight movies are awesome.”

LOL Great retort.

The Harry Potter movies are excellent, as are the books. It’s a joke to say that the acting is “subpar.” The movies have the biggest actors of Britain. You’re only trying to sound cool if you say that the Harry Potter movies suck. You actually sound antagonistic.

^agreed

10char

He was possibly talking about the younger ones who get the most screen time.

No not at all all my friends and I were crying. It was so sad, esp. since I saw it coming!!!

Haha I’m such a nerddddd I was like omg bellatrix means warrior in Latin and all this stuff. Also I think I was that annoying kid who was talking through the whole thing to my friend. OK, I was whispering, and only during parts where it was just like a musical interlude, and I’m sorry. Well, no, I’m not really that sorry…

The books are not great works of literature. But they are great stories, which is really the point. Plus I’ve grown up with them–E. Watson + D. Radcliffe + R. Grint are only like one year older than me. Every movie I saw, they were right around my age… and now we’re all growing up. sob

^I read ‘dancing’ at first and was like ‘okay then’.

dancing for what? where?

Speaking as someone who was in the first two HP movies, I don’t particularly like the films. Daniel Radcliffe is not a very good actor and I think the studio should have dropped him after the second film.

That is about as subtle as a sledgehammer.

Darn Tootin’

His acting has changed a lot ever since Chris Columbus stopped directing the films.
