<p>WHo else despises this class with a passion either because a) the class sucks b)it's actually hard regardless to what the norm is and/or c)anything and everything bad about the class.
I hate this class so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!</p>
<p>After my other math classes, I'm actually loving it.</p>
<p>I took the class last year and hated it because our school didn't want to deal with scheduling problems, so they just "dumped" a bunch of students from Algebra II into our class. As a result, it wasn't an AP caliber class. No joke, there was one day when we spent a half an hour trying to convince this kid that if you take the jokers out of the deck, you still have 52 cards. We did the math, the whole 13 times 4 suits equals 52, but he wouldn't agree until he counted the cards in a deck. The first time he counted, he somehow got 49, the second time 51, then finally, on tries three and four, he got 52. Gotta love the public school system.</p>
<p>That class is just ridiculous. My friends and I play Phase 10 under the table and she doesn't realize -__- <em>sigh</em></p>
<p>She freaking taught a whole lesson wrong (she told us to make the leaves on a stem-plot all equal... we even TOLD her that that would make the plot pointless because you wouldn't be able to see the shape... but she just didn't agree. Then when she hands us back our tests she goes "SOMETIMES, it's easier if you even out the leaves, but not always") <em>sigh again</em></p>
<p>We also spent a week on graphing (stupid graphing like pie charts) and she was like "OK everyone... take out your calculators and find me the percent for 6/10" w... t... f...</p>
<p>UGH!!! I hate that class!!! HATE IT!!! It's the most boring class ever, and we're AGES behind the other AP Stats class (I can't switch into it cus my schedule is messed up like that) <em>sobs to death</em></p>
<p>And she won't let us do other class work during her class either... UGH. Her personality is cute I guess, but once she starts teaching, i just want to shoot myself. GRAWR</p>
<p>^lmao! agreed! It sounds like my class except it's really hard. She's such a horrible teacher, but her tests are so freaking hard and she grades like a gbood teacher (very hard)! It's ridiculous!</p>

<p>AAAARRGGGHHHH! I wish I had taken BC Calc! Stat is just plugging in numbers into a calculator and learning old stuff like expected value. "If you flip a coin 1000 times, how many heads do you expect?" What kind of seniors do you think we are!!!!</p>
<p>oh, sorry, i actually didn't really consider that some ap stat teachers are hard. oh man, my ap stat teacher is sooo easy, it's not even funny. </p>

<p>My goodness I hate that class. Largely because AP stat is actually supposed to last one semester, but at our school it lasts two semesters so it goes twice as slow.</p>

i mean i know from what im reading here right now haha none of you really like it
but do you still think its worthwhile/a good class to take for someone who wants to get into a good college, even if it means getting a B in this class?
cuz we have to choose our schedules for junior year soon and im thinking about taking stats</p>
<p>I love AP Stats. My teacher is amazing and I've learned so much. Ah wait...this is the "I Hate AP Stats" thread...</p>
<p>I hate AP Stats also. My teacher is ridiculous...He gives out easy hw assignments that does not in any way correlate with the difficulty of his test. To make it worse, a chapter of hw assignments counts for 10-15 pts maximum and his test and quizzes are like 150-250pts. 0.0 Plus, his voice sounds like a automated computer.</p>
<p>I agree, ap stats is a breeze after calc BC. : D</p>

<li> occassionally look up and make eye contact with your teacher so she thinks you're listening intently. :)</li>

<p>Well I had the midterm today.... I think I actually did good (i looked up the answers after the test). I still hate it tho.</p>
<p>wow. I'm planning to take AP Stats next year, but I'm hesitating now. I'm taking calc AB, and I like it, since its challenging (I'm a humanities guy), and the people are actually decently smart. However, I know that in AP stats a bunch of dumb ppl take it since they think stats is easy and want to have an AP done. Now, I read your posts... hmm. To take or not to take, that is the question. problem is, I wanna major in Econ, so I probably have to take it if I want to go to advanced econ classes right away</p>
