The Indian Thread #20

“Threw it on the ground” HAHAHA. Reminds me of “Like a Boss” :D

@veethiv epic video bro-girl

Karan: haha (: sureee, i’ll edit it! just email it to me whenevss

Tizil7: oh yeahh! i randomly started to scream “TEACH ME HOW TO DOUGIE” after i watched that one lawlss

Karan, to be totally honest with you, I must advise you not to get your essay evaluated by any one of with us, me included. This is because even though me and a few others have completed our essays and are pretty happy with them, there is a possibility, no matter how slight that your essay can be compromised. Though I can suggest you someone who can help you out with this… Anialways! She is amazing  She helped me with quite a few essays and the best part is … she isn’t applying to the US for college admissions because most probably she is already past it by now :)

going to bed. Bonne nuit everyone and don’t forget to calm down :)

err bro girl. ahem. girl would suffice. i don’t think im bro-girl (what ever that is) :stuck_out_tongue:
haha they’re so funny, check out “im on a boat” . okay, mood lightened up.
get back to the usual…

Bonne Nuit! :)

Tizil7: You do realize that I’m not gonna be applying for college for another 2 years? Haha (: Idk, I would read his essay if he wanted me to. Wouldn’t hurt for sure.

US high schools and colleges have the same designations

Freshman (year 1), Sophomore (year 2), Junior (year 3), Senior (year 4).

Most high schools start as grade 9. There are some regional exceptions to this here and there.

Btw Tennis - I watch saturday night live regularly. I am not sure that guy was on 5 years ago, when you were 10?

thanks for the advice tizil7, i’ll ask anialways
but tennishicaxo is a sophomore so her app is 2 years away,so i think i’ll be okay
still thanks for the concern…i’ll avoid any other 12th graders

Oh wait, so you are not a senior? A perfect applicant for reading essays :)

We all should probably make a hidden Facebook group and let future Indian CCers join by invitation only ;)

@veethiv just girl sounded wierd. still lol@tazed in the butthole

I was just wondering is research a hook for the top universities? I mean I have been involved with research work for quite some time and I have even managed to publish a paper. So would my work be considered as hook?

Nope nope, I’m not a senior! Haha, I would DEFF not be helping my COMPETITORS with their essays. Silly, silly children (:

you want to exclude me?

Now, I am really loging out. good night

Phr34k, yes it’s amazing! It wouldn’t so much be considered a hook as it will be considered an amazing extracurricular. And TexasPG, long time no see bro! What’s up? :D

The fb thing sounds like a good idea, too bad I deactivated my account in the hope to stay away from the internet aka procrastination. However, I landed up on this forum and spent my entire day here. : ) constructive move.
Anywhoo, Night people! I’m off :)

Non, mon ami d’internet! We’ll include you as well  Bon nuit!

and Night to you too veethiv!

EDIT: I want the 1000th post. Grr.

Tizil - As a parent, I could be your dad but whatever.

You are all talking to each other and not about colleges. So I have no advice to dish out.

phr34k - It is one thing that can set your application apart - published research. Not sure where you are applying but several schools do ask you for abstracts, published papers, recommendations from your research advisor etc. Where are you applying?

o__O
Oh well, I did consider for a second that the ‘pg’ in your name stood for post graduate. But then my brain associated you more closely to being a '15 student. But thanks for clearing the confusion, sir. Now we have two Indian parents on CC whom I know of :D
