The Indian Thread (TiT) # 15

lol......................I knew that someone is gonna object to that, thats y I hav CLEARD my ideas....read the post completely...........................................n u will know,in which frame of refernce I m talkin about..........................obiviously I agree with ur comment, and I completely support it too,but when u will read my COMPLETE post then the Idea will b much clearer to u................

I didnt mean that there should b low quotas as it will b an injustice to OBC/ST/SC.......nor I meant that there should be more quotas
(upto 50%!!!!!....)as it will b an injustice to ANY deserving candidates..........I hope now u got my point,n plz read tha post of mine COMPLETEY,then object........it will b very nice then....:)...

@abhishiv-well 4 A's is a sure shot,altho i noe some ppl with 3A's and a B too...cheers
no clue for NTU man

Anyone who says that 90% Indians are against quota is simply stupid, Although that doesn't justifies quota. Currently quota is at 22.5%(not 27.5), there's no chance of it being increased to 50%. American admission process can't be implemented in a country with so many differences(economically and Socially).
Badman is quiet right, reservation are the only way to eliminate the caste system.
I don't see any point in discussing this dead topic, you can't make a list of topics and ask people to discuss them.

Ya,may b its not 90%.....its just a guess,but,mostly there are many.........
Neways,it is 27.5%(currently....if not then I m gonna kick the TOI guys...)...

I disagree with this, this quota system has NO future to tell u the truth........finally,this has to change,I currently I can see only the US system as a good one......cant say if there is anyother good system....................................but whatever it is,it needs to be CHANGED completely....as I said increasing or decreasing are NOT helping ANYone,it is just harming either ways..........
Again,I m niether SUPPORTing nor Opposing it,what I mean is CHANGE....

Hey,u said that ur interview has been waived?...........neway,I will ask them to waive my interview....

Gosh! i forgot that EC's could be reading this forum. Deleted that post a minute before that stupid time limit.

hehehe its so funny here nowadays..

well quotas help as much as they destroy .. just a matter of perspective and support for a greator case..

Rocker: Yes , we did have a chance to meet mrs. shankar who is a PMO delegate and suggest such stuff.

wassup: hey dude , how r u doing.. been long time since i saw you here though you still post reg .. well hows it all going in NUS?

And people dont waive interviews.. they really help ur apps if taken and well almost always act as an adding factor rather than an extra burden..

SM

i am not here to fuel any aggresion nor wud i comment on what i do at IUB or other places.. for people who find it hard to believe that we have had that talk with mrs meera shankar here in germany, i dont bother..coz i am not here to tell people wha is true and what is nt .. coz the news media had rightly covered the event in germany.. but anyways

as of issaac, calm down man .. why r u getting fueled up.. its normal for threads to have different kinds of posters and its ok.. i dont give a damn to what people say here unless i want to .. and well thats what online forums are for.. to communicate and to be selective in ur communication...

i dont believe in seniorhood myself but do believe in gud respect to all people of all ages and well if sumone violates them, its their problem.. much more than causing problems here online it causes problems at places where one cant sit behind a computer screen

And well people if you feel offended at any posts by anyone CC has a very effective option of reporting it which does work nicely moderated by people here..

peacee

SM

Hehe...........true,I hav been a bit overreactive..thanx for deleting that..........Neway,I dont mean to offend anyone out here,as u must hav noticed I hav tried to resolve the dispute, but,I lost my head..(lol.....there r plenty of other unfortunate things goin around me....)Neway,wat I m gonna do is IGNORE this kinda things..........Its been quite funny.........

Hi!Hey where hav u all prep.d/prep.ing SAT wordlist n Grammar from?

jus thot i'd correct you there... CS at IUB is definitely not engineering/programming... it comes pretty close to pure CS

hahahahahahaha ... astrix back to The Indian Thread.. well that calls for a GRAND party .. wowowwoowo

welcome back astrix to the forum's world

SM

I'm starting to fall in love with pure cs... it's a rather good to be on that side as well

Well,it seems that CS is VERY popular....and y it shouldnt b......after all,it is responsible for a revolution....n many more things.......

Yay for CS!!

Seems CS dominates TiT :D

Well, unfortunately(not for me...:)..)...my choice is ME...(I dont even consider for CS as an option....)...

Anyone applying for ME?

I might go for ME but currently I am opting for 'undecided'....

I wonder how undecided works. For example a university might be very selective for a particular major and not so selective for some other major. If you apply undecided, will they compare you with the lot applying for the most selective major? Or...
