<p>What lyrics do you like??</p>

<p>Here's some nerdy 2nd grade ones by Arthur & Friends from PBS--Library Card and Jekyll Hyde. Download them you fools!!</p>

<p>LIBRARY CARD
By Joe Toolbox Fallon</p>

<p>Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card
Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card</p>

<p>Come on inside, we've got everything you need
There's plenty to do or you can just sit and read</p>

<p>This book explains how to make paper planes
This contour map can show you mountain range terrains</p>

<p>Fly to the moon, explore the ocean floor
Find out which one's the tiller and which one is the oar</p>

<p>Here's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and "Half Magic"
"Hop on Pop," "The Fox in Socks" and books on doing card tricks!</p>

<p>Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card (That's right!)
Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card</p>

<p>Books on baseball, hockey and soccer
And even how to build yourself a cool doorknocker</p>

<p>I could stay in this place for hours and hours
I like books with pictures of lotsa pretty flowers
being crushed by a giant pterodactyl</p>

<p>Jules Verne, HG Wells, and Ray Bradbury
You can take 'em home so you don't have to read 'em in a hurry</p>

<p>Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card
Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card</p>

<p>Paintings by Leonardo, Rembrandt, and Picasso
Confidentially, I'm reading "Go, Dog, Go."</p>

<p>There's "The Giving Tree" and "Jumanji" and "Where the Wild Things Are"
And a book on why you shouldn't keep your brother in a jar</p>

<p>All the thoughts and dreams of people throughout history
And all you need's this little card to borrow 'em for free!</p>

<p>Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card
Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card</p>

<p>There's story time and lessons on how to use computers
But there can't be any classes on how to make me cuter</p>

<p>Puppet shows and movies, the cool things never end
And don't forget the Dewey Decimal System is your friend
Who's Dewey?</p>

<p>And don't forget the Dewey Decimal System is your friend
Who's Dewey?!</p>

<p>Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card
Who's Dewey?!!</p>

<p>Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card
Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card
Who's Dewey?!!!</p>

<p>Having fun isn't hard when you've got a library card
Having Fun . . . Who's Dewey?! </p>

<p>Jekyll And Hyde
by Arthur
album:<br>
one day i went to the library
i found this book it was great
it was so cool i couldnt put it down
even when it got pretty late!</p>

<p>that night i had a scary dream
i mixed my own secret potion
added dirt, a bit o' sludge some eyes of flies
and a tiny dab of sun-tan-lotion</p>

<p>i started shaking, my legs were quaking!
my stomach aching, my brain was breaking!
i started turning green, feeling mean
it was like in that story
i was acting strange, quite daranged
it was pure alagory!</p>

<p>alagory: a story where the characters stand for absract ideas
for example-good and evilcuz i was</p>

<p>{refrain}
jekyll, jekyll HYDE jekyll HYDE HYDE jekyll
jekyll jekyll HYDE jekyll HYYYYYYYDE!!!! (X2)</p>

<p>when i awoke i was me again
i hid the book out of sight
it was so cool i couldnt keep away
so i took it out again that night!</p>

<p>and then i dreamed we had this test in school
i gotta say it was weird
we had to give the answers in semiform
and for extra credit grow a beard</p>

<p>i couldnt take it, just couldnt take it!
in one swift motion i grabbed my potion!
i said mister hyde has arrived,
tossed my flags on the floor
made a major speech,
told the teach this is all a big bore!
ran down all the halls, wrote on walls
even stole second base!
i was super bad, sure was glad
i wasnt wearin my face
cuz i was</p>

<p>{refrain}</p>

<p>this is too much, i simply had to stop!
i threw that potion away(potion away)!
but it didnt matter if i drank the stuff
i just kept on changing anyway(changing anyway)!
now i was</p>

<p>{refrain}</p>

<p>just when it seemed there was no way out,
i saw the book was overdue
the booklady said "are you returning?"
i thought and i said "no, RENEW!!!!"</p>

<p>{refrain}X1 1/2</p>

<p>Am I the only one that ever watched Arthur? Don't make me go all karma chameleon on you.</p>

<p>lol. I watched it until I was in first or second grade. I remember that song.</p>

<p>Having fun isn't hard, when you've got a library card! :)</p>

<p>Lol we dont watch that show, this is a highschool forum</p>

<p>What next..you don't play Pokemon?</p>

<p>I used to watch Arthur religiously in fourth grade. Every freaking day at 5:00 - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.</p>

<p>I remember those lyrics, by the way.</p>

<p>"Title of the Song" by Da Vinci's Notebook</p>

<p>Declaration of my feelings for you
Elaboration on those feelings
Description of how long these feelings have existed
Belief that no one else could feel the same as I</p>

<p>Reminiscence of the pleasant times we shared
And our relationship’s perfection
Recounting of the steps that led to our love’s dissolution
Mostly involving my unfaithfulness and lies</p>

<p>Penitent admission of wrongdoing
Discovery of the depth of my affection
Regret over the lateness of my epiphany</p>

<p>Title of the song
Naive expression of love
Reluctance to accept that you are gone
Request to turn back time
And rectify my wrongs
Repetition of the title of the song</p>

<p>Enumeration of my various transgressive actions
Of insufficient motivation
Realization that these actions led to your departure
And my resultant lack of sleep and appetite</p>

<p>Renunciation of my past insensitive behavior
Promise of my reformation
Reassurance that you still are foremost in my thoughts now
Need for instructions how to gain your trust again</p>

<p>Request for reconciliation
Listing of the numerous tests that I’d perform
Of physical and emotional compensation</p>

<p>Title of the song
Naïve expression of love
Reluctance to accept that you are gone
Request to turn back time
And rectify my wrongs
Repetition of the title of the song</p>

<p>Acknowledgment that I acted foolishly
Increasingly desperate pleas for your return
Sorrow for my infidelity
Vain hope that my sins are forgivable
Appeal for one more opportunity
Drop to my knees to elicit crowd response
Prayers to my chosen deity
Modulation and I hold a high note</p>

<p>Title of the song
Naïve expression of love
Reluctance to accept that you are gone
Request to turn back time
And rectify my wrongs
Repetition of the title of the song</p>

<p>"I Wish I Were" by Da Vinci's Notebook</p>

<p>I wish I were a bird,
'Cause if I were a bird
Then I could take wing high above you,
And you could watch my white wings flap
And I could take a great big crap
On anyone who tried to hurt you.
But then I'd have to desert you
Flying southward in the fall...
I don't want to be a bird after all.</p>

<p>I wish I were a dog,
'Cause if I were a dog,
Then I'd do tricks to show I love you,
I could run and fetch the stick,
And I could sit right down and lick
My privates when your mom came over
But if I was your rover,
You'd have my testicles recalled...
I don't want to be a dog after all.</p>

<p>Lai da dai, lai da dai....</p>

<p>I wish I were a deer,
'Cause if I were a deer
Then we could play out in the forest,
'Til you shot my by mistake,
Then you would carve me into steak
With a touch so sweet and gentle
Keep my head as a memento,
Hanging in the upstairs hall...
I don't want to be a deer after all.</p>

<p>I wish I were a monkey
'Cause if I were a monkey
I could be your furry jester
And whenever you were blue
You'd come and see me at the zoo
My antics would be reassurin'
But I would always reek of urine
And throw my feces at the wall
I don't want to be a monkey
I don't want to be a monkey
No I don't want to be no monkeeeeeyy
after all.</p>

<p>Lai da dai, lai da dai....</p>

<p>my name's WOMEN (Hamasaki Ayumi)</p>

<p>I like glittering things and pretty things
As much as before
But being cool and being tough
Have become more important lately</p>

<p>(*) You see? Times have changed so much
But why do I still hear such words as
"Tears are women's weapons"?</p>

<p>(**) We don't cry easily
We are not always coquettish
We are not dolls
Who are only dressed-up</p>

<p>(***) We have our weak sides
We are not always smiling
Don't forget
That we don't exist to be convenient for you</p>

<p>Though it's certain
I have a pain in my chest on some nights</p>

<p>It might be true
The more one experiences sufferings
The more he can be tender and strong</p>

<p>(****) Do you think you have controlled everything
With a knowing look?
We are not dolls
Who are only dreaming</p>

<p>(*****) Do you think you have cheated us well
With a satisfied look?
Do remember
That we are not such simple beings</p>

<p>These lyrics are somewhat true given the nature of the freedom and dignity of many older women in Japan.</p>
