@Marilyn if you ever have too many lemons I would be happy to come and take them off your hands. I normally make limoncello every few years and need plenty of lemons.
I returned my three dress rejects and it paid for most of the motels on my road trip (or quilt fabric, depending on one’s perspective!).
Went to a Dillard’s in Maumee, OH and they had a lot of MOB dresses in petites.
@showmom858 , the spring crop is just coming in - I’ll let you know if we start overflowing! Husband occasionally makes limoncello and we’ve both made preserved lemons.
That’s my neck of the woods! Drive by it today!
I think I have been spending too much time on this thread. I have no engaged children. Last night I had a dream that my friend and I were both shopping for MOB dresses (friend also has no engaged children).
lol, my dress is already bought and paid for, and here I am!
Same here, but I still want to see everyone else’s choices. Bring on the dresses (and shoes)!
How about purses?
My dress is bought and paid for but I need to figure out what to bring in case the evening gets a bit nippy for me (it will be late October and outdoors or in ballroom in evening). The local store I went buy no longer seems to have much of a selection of wraps.
Macy’s had a good selection of shawls and wraps last fall.
Dillard’s too. I bought my Ignite Evenings chiffon shawl (in navy) at a Dillard’s store. It was helpful to take the chill off at outdoor happy hour.
Sadly we don’t have any Dillard’s in our state but will be on the hunt. I will be in NYC in May and CA in September. Maybe will come across something in Japan.
I just took a quick pass through TJ Maxx just for fun to look at their dresses. If I want to look like an Easter colored milkmaid, there are lots of options!
Wondering if this dress is too black/white for a wedding guest? I’ve had it forever; one of my go to cruise dresses from prior times. It’s a bit large but a very forgiving style - and I have plenty of jewelry etc. to match.
I have a similar style in blue but it’s even bigger size. I was probably 25 or so pounds heavier in these old photos.
Pretty much describes the that’s out there. Thanks for making me laugh
I like both of those dresses and I think either is great as a wedding guest
Ha, those Easter dresses might well for guests at son’s outdoor wedding reception. It’s “garden semi-formal”, and they are encouraging bright colors, flowered dresses. Not certain yet what they’ll want for MOB/MOG attire.
D2 just received this dress from Nordstrom Rack for the black tie wedding of her friend that we are all attending on 4/8.

That is a perfect dress for a black tie event!
I ordered this dress. I loved the color, neckline, and really the whole top half of the dress, but the slit was way too high (just below my underwear) and I don’t think it could really be lowered (possibly if I went up a size). So I am still looking.
That is a bummer. Beautiful dress! Fingers crossed you find “the one.”
Why do these designers think everyone needs a slit so high (or holes in weird places)?!
Yes, there were many lovely dresses I decided against as too revealing because slits too high or low. Oh well, keep looking, nice outfits are out there.
I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Nordstrom’s Rack. sone of the options are quite nice AND affordable—happy combo!
Yes! I don’t understand the whole “cut out and cropped” trend this year for clothing in general! Maybe 1% of the population is eligible for those styles!
