I think that the other choice was correct ("a dog, a car, a policeman.") and there are a few others that agree with me; check page 5.

I think goosebumps should have stayed.

jonoam-
I don't remember exactly. The answer had something to do with offshore sand dunes or something along those lines.

On that pairs questions, what was the wording? didn't it ask how many complementary pairs there would be? i dont remember the exact wording but I remember that they said if there are 30 (could have been guanine or cytosine) how many was it ''complementary'' would there be? Because that is why I picked 30..

check pg 5..top one for the dna one

It was something along the lines of:

If there are 30 adenine bases and 100 total, how many guanine bases are there?

30 adenine means that there are 30 thymine...so 100-60=40 remaining. Half have to be guanine...40/2 = 20.

WOW careless...def. didn't read that right.....

Wasn't the weight of the rope more imporant than whether it was soft or not? She used telephone cord because it was heavy, and she went into detail about how they could only jump if they kept the light rope wet.

Hey Peeps Can You Please Please Bring Up More Answers To The Questions..

And Does Anyone Remember The Wording To The Act Essay Exactly Or Really Close?
My Friend And I Want To Compare Act And Sat Essay Questions (with Difficulty).

Thank You All Soo Much For Your Help

This is close for the essay:

" Educators have long debated whether high school students must take a current events and news class." And then it talked about some feel we shouldn't

"Write an essay in english in which you take a position on whether you think a current events and news class should be mandatory. You can support either side or create your own position. Use details and examples to back up

On the greatest drop per unit temp. weren't you just supposed to look for the steepest slope onj the graph?

wasn't the 4am one?(it was the only negative sloping one) neary vertical?

so wouldnt that be the choice?

Maybe I have my times mismatched in my head...

No you were looking for the least steep slope, becuase it took more time to drop temp, so 2am

I hope you mean 2 PM....I think I put that if its PM

do you guys wanna get in a chatroom or something so we can discuss?

if there were at least 5-10 people then sure

true.... :/

so, are we doing a chatroom?

does anyone think that the curve will be more lenient considering nearly all of the students taking the test are juniors, and juniors typically take the test later on in the school year (when they have covered more material in school)? if there were no curve, then i would assume that the scores would be a lot better in april/june than they are in february, as the the same junior students (for the most part) are taking the same test with more knowledge. does anyone know anything about this?

The curve is determined beforehand

with the jump rope one..it asked what was needed for a good jump rope (or something to that effect). it mentioned all of them (light, sturdy, and the other one) and specifically said that soft was bad because they had to wet it in order to use it

anyone remember any of the answers to the science passage that addressed the germination of a seeed at a given temperature...and then had charts for 6, 8 days, etc
